How can you tell whether a precipitate form or not?

I suggest I explain you the concept and you find out the precipitate yourself. A precipitation reaction is a reaction in which a solid substance is formed in the liquid medium which is insoluble in that liquid. For the compounds which are insoluble or soluble refer to solubility chart. Eg.---- Pb(OH)2, Ca(OH)2. They do not dissolve in the substance which is obtained as a product from the used two or more substances. Now your Q)- 1, its answer is Ca(CO)3. This is because this substance wont dissolve in the compound NaNO3. If you still have doubts feel free to contact me: kap_asl_ali@yahoo.co.in
