Suppose there was a "cult" of athiests that killed people that did not agree with their opinion of god.

Like the Jews, Christians, and Muslims have all done. Would such a group of athiests make the world a better place? If not, then have the Jews, Christians, and Muslims made the world a better place? Are you capable of seeing the paradox here?
