What are the effects of lenght on a conductor on the resistanceof a conductor?&how do they affect resistance?

If you were to divide the wire up into many equal lengths, each length would have a resistance. What happens if you put many resistors in series? The values add together to give you the total resistance. So too with the wire. The longer the wire, the greater the resistance. Twice as long, double the resistance.
