Border collie or golden retriever?

I have 1 acre of fenced in area and another 1 1/2 acers of land not fenced in. it would be nice to have a dog that doesn't need a leash but it not that important. i want a dog that'll swim and play fetch with and frisbees. i want a dog that'll be hyper and play but will also be calm and snuggle(: i want a dog that'll learn tricks like sit, lie down, shake, play dead, etc. border collie or golden retriever?
