Advice please on life insurance and the beneficiary! ?

My gma doesn't have much longer to live. My uncle wants to cremate her but all her other 5 kids are against it as it is not what my gma wants at all.My grandma just got diagnosed with Dementia so she can't tell someone her wishes anymore. We just found out that my uncle is the beneficiary of her insurance and when he was up here last he dug out her insurance papers and we don't know what he is doing with them now. I fear he will get her cremated behind out backs..Is there anything we can do?? My aunt is second beneficiary. By the way my grandma only has 7000 and it will cost 2000 to have her cremated so I think my uncle wants to pocket the rest.
