Eye color genetics? How did this happen?

Blue and brown are the only types of eye color genes. The other colors that result (green, hazel, etc.) are because of incomplete dominance aka blending. Now about the eye color violet, which is the rarest, I dunno about that one. Probably has to do with some sort of non deleterious mutation of the genes for eye color.
