If you never have any true friends, you need to do a personality check. If you find that you are not close to any of the people you attract, maybe you are not projecting the image of who you really are. When you are true to yourself, it is almost impossible to not find someone along the way that just clicks with you. Now, it is also possible to find those people, and then grow apart after time. That doesn't mean they weren't true friends, only that your personalities have now changed.
