Are you concerned that your pet's toys are likely made in China and could contain lead?

The continuous recalls on kids toys made in China containing lead is disturbing and outright terrifying. Has anyone thought about our dog's or cat's toys? I work at Petco and I began looking for toys made here in the USA and most of them are made in China as well. My dog tears apart toys and can at times ingest pieces of thread or string. Do you think there could be lead in our pet's toys as well? Should we be concerned?
