The Ark of the Covenant, which held the 10 Commandments, was holy, pure and covered in gold...?
Why were the Ten Commandments worthy enough to be carried in an Ark so holy and pure God struck down anyone who tried to touch it, but Jesus -- the Word Incarnate -- was carried in a "vessel" stained by original sin? Was Jesus unworthy of a pure "vessel" like the golden Ark?
