I am going to Bethesda, MD in March, April, and June anything other than NIH I should do?

I am originally going in a medical study as a patient. Last time I went to Washington D.C., to Union Station and the Mall in front of the White House from The Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial and I saw the Natural History Museum via the Metro. Any travel tips and suggestions would be a great help? Thanks.
