Is it just me or do some songs make you feel...?

It is just me or do some songs make you feel kinda depressed or more like on the sad side? I'm not talking about emo music or like depressed so that you cut yourself. I know that when i was younger, Christina Aguilera's song Genie in a Bottle always made me a little sad. Not like upset, but like, well i dont know how to explain it. And now when i listen to it i think back to like the good old days and just ponder..i know this question is kinda pointless..haha i jsut needed to rant..so what do you guys think?
