Moving from Chi Town to Arlington, TX, what are the best/worst areas for living/high schools?

To be honest, I'd stay away from the high schools you mention. If you want the best possible school for your son you'll send him to Martin High School. You have to attend the school in your attendance zone according to your home address. You may have some trouble finding a 3 BR for $850. Unless you keep your place really cool you should be able to keep your electric bill under $200. Welcome to Texas.
