Euston rail station...no place to swipe oyster?

When I'm getting the train ..it let's you get on without asking for ur ticket..this is costing me a lot on my oyster ..because wen I get to my destination...its charging me full price around 8 pounds I think ...why does some platforms on euston not have the ticket machines ??
